the SUBQ.

subcutaneous nylon frames, frozen in reaction injected resin.

developed to make watch cases and straps out of high performance resin. affordably.

high performance resin means light, precise, strong, and made here in the USA.

bullet
handmade straps

the straps are made by hand-milling a nylon skeleton and pouring in the strap around it. Then curing at 60 psi before heating. some call this process forging in the context of carbon fiber.

bullet
movement + hands

the movement is an eta 2824 clone called the ST2130. it bears a waterproof crown and is untouched by moisture in up to 6 bar of pressure. the movement is mounted by carefully refinished hands and is left in plane view to appreciate.

bullet
deployant clasp

the straps are fitted with brushed stainless steel deployant clasps made for cut to size straps like ours. this is easily one of the more expensive components but well worth it for the feeling of a quality and snug fit.

reverse monobloc design

the case has been designed and manufacturing to bind the front sapphire crystal to the case during "forging"

then the watch is assembled and a rear crystal is press fit as the caseback.

each watch has a split stem that can be removed and air pressure is introduced to blow the rear crystal.

this combines traditional watch monobloc designs with modern performance material manufacturing.

made. finished. tested.

by hand.
